Twice, Grenzwandler was featured by MDR in its coverage—once as a segment for the news program “mdr heute”, and again in the documentary “Der Osten – Discover Where You Live: Wall, Bunkers, Green Belt – The New Culture of Remembrance,” directed by Sven Stephan. The piece was later also broadcast on ARD-Mittagsmagazin.
