Prototype funding for our VERwandler concept.

As part of the VR Now funding program of the Animation Institute and MFG Baden-Württemberg, we are allowed to participate in the one-year program.

The VERwandler is a “versatile-energy-relay” and server station for augmented reality — in other words, a “transformed reality.” This completely energy-autonomous server station will be powered by muscle strength and will enable AR experiences in any location. This is especially valuable in museums, memorial sites, and listed buildings, where providing a secure internet connection for virtual augmented offerings is often difficult.

The development team consists of Alpay Artun, Marlene Dieckmann, and David Ruf.
